Acceptance means that you can find the serenity within to let go of the past with its mistakes and regrets,Flowers and move into the future with a new perspective, appreciating the opportunity to take a second chance.

Acceptance means you'll find security again when difficult times come into your life, and comfort to relieve any pain.

You'll find new dreams, fresh hopes, and forgiveness of the heart.

Acceptance does not mean that you will always be perfect. It simply means that you'll always overcome imperfection.

Acceptance is the road to peace - letting go of the worst, holding on to the best, and finding the hope inside that continues throughout life.

Acceptance is the heart's best defense, love's greatest asset, and the easiest way to keep on believing in yourself and others.

  • When no one is there for you
  • And you think no one cares
  •
  • When the whole world walks out on you
  • And you think you're alone
  • I'll be there
  •  Inspirational Short Story, Female Fantasy Art, Relaxing Music
  • When the one you care about the most
  • Could care less about you
  •
  • When the one you gave your heart to
  • Throws it in your face
  • I'll be there
  •
  • When the person you trusted
  • Betrays you
  •
  • When the person you share all your memories with
  • Hurts you
  • I'll be there
  •
  • When all you need is a friend
  • To listen to you whine
  •
  • When all you need is someone
  • To catch your tears
  • I'll be thereInspirational Short Story, Female Fantasy Art, Relaxing Music
  •
  • When your heart hurts so bad
  • You can't even breathe
  •
  • When you just want to curl up and die
  • I'll be there
  •
  • When you start to cry
  • After hearing that sad song
  •
  • When the tears just won't
  • Stop falling down
  • I'll be there
  •
  • So you see
  • I'll be there until the end
  • This is a promise I can make
  • If you ever need me
  • Just give me a call and
  •
  • I'll be there

    Faraway sirens signal the start
of questions 'til midnight, affairs of the heart.
In PainWhat was the reason, what did he say?
What did you do to make him act that way?

How can I tell them I simply forgot
to wash his best shirt, or his tea was too hot.
When I can't understand, do I tell them the truth?
He accused me of sleeping around with no proof.

They ask, was he drinking, did he get drunk tonight,
does he take any drugs and how long was the fight?
    I don't know if I answer, I don't care anymore.
I can see the red mark where my head hit the door.

I no longer feel the hot tears on my face,
My heart is consumed with fear and disgrace.
Again I say that this is the last time.
But there's blood on the sofa and I know that it's mine.

When are you gonna come down
When are you going to land
I should have stayed on the farm
I should have listened to my old man

You know you can't hold me forever
I didn't sign up with you
I'm not a present for your friends to open
This boy's too young to be singing the blues

    So goodbye yellow brick road
Where the dogs of society howl
You can't plant me in your penthouse
I'm going back to my plow

Back to the howling old owl in the woods
    Hunting the horny back toad
Oh I've finally decided my future lies
    Beyond the yellow brick road

What do you think you'll do then
I bet that'll shoot down your plane
It'll take you a couple of vodka and tonics
To set you on your feet again

    Maybe you'll get a replacement
There's plenty like me to be found
Mongrels who ain't got a penny
Sniffing for tidbits like you on the ground

    So goodbye yellow brick road
Where the dogs of society howl
You can't plant me in your penthouse
I'm going back to my plow

Back to the howling old owl in the woods
    Hunting the horny back toad
Oh I've finally decided my future lies
    Beyond the yellow brick road
