People
disturb us. They sap our vitality from us. They
pile
upon us their conditions of fear and their
atmosphere of
despondency. In such cases we must regain our
poise by the
realization of the power that is ever within us.
Find your center.
Horatio W. Dresser
Did we become
wrapped up in the behaviors of other people today?
If we haven't detached from the problems of our
boss, co-worker,
or family member, we feel drained and used like an
old rag that's choked with years of dust and dirt.
Other people own their behaviors just as we own
ours. If we buy into someone's attitude, then we
have purchased a piece of that attitude. It's ours
to feel, and feel it we usually do.
Suddenly we
become a reflection of the other person, displaying
whatever emotions he or she is experiencing.
Now that the daytime is over, we can reflect upon
our feelings and ask if they are ours or ones we
purchased from others.
To find our center, we need to discover the feelings
that are ours alone. As we interact with people, we
can refuse to purchase any more attitudes that are
not our own.
When it gets dark enough,
you can see the stars.
-- Lee Salk
The tiny points of light in
the darkened sky have long been used to plot
navigational courses.
In fact, sailors
trust the stars even more than their most
sophisticated instruments.
We, too, can look at the
sky and find reassurance in its light.
Each star in the sky has meaning.
Whether it's part of
a major constellation or merely a pulsating, burning
mass in the sky, there is a reason for that star to
be there.
We are also stars in
the night.
We are not alone, for
we share the expansive heavens with those around us,
whether our nearest neighbor is one floor above us
or miles away.
We are all here for a
purpose.
It is universally
admitted that there is a natural healing
power resident in the
body. Many people have learned to
relax and to keep
quiet like the animals, giving nature a free
opportunity to heal
their maladies.

Have we ever
met people who never seem to get sick? They eat
well, get plenty of rest and exercise, and generally
seem to give physical health a priority.
Then
there are those who always seem sick, and they seem
more concerned about their
sickness than in getting better.
Medical studies have found a direct correlation
between people's emotional and physical states.
The
person who thinks positive thoughts and expresses
emotions usually spends less time being sick than
someone who has a mind filled with
stinking thinking.
We are our own healers. Our minds and bodies tell us
when to eat, sleep, and relax. When we listen, we
are in touch with the ways we can help ourselves
feel better.
It's our
choice. We can feel healthy or we can feel sick.
Which will it be?
Under blue moon, I saw you
So soon you'll take me
Up in your arms, too late to beg you
Or cancel it, though I know it must be
The killing time
Unwillingly mine
Fate
Up against your will
Through the thick and thin
He will wait until
You give yourself to him
In starlit nights, I saw you
So cruelly, you kissed me
Your lips, a magic world
Your sky, all hung with jewels
The killing moon
Will come too soon
Fate
Up against your will
Through the thick and thin
He will wait until
You give yourself to him
Under blue moon, I saw you
So soon you'll take me
Up in your arms, too late to beg you
Or cancel it, though I know it must be
The killing time
Unwillingly mine
Fate
Up against your will
Through the thick and thin
He will wait until
You give yourself to him
Fate
Up against your will
Through the thick and thin
He will wait until
You give yourself to him
You give yourself to him
La
La, la, la, la
La, la, la, la
La, la, la, la
La, la, la, la, la, la
Fate
Up against your will
Through the thick and thin
He will wait until
You give yourself to him
You give yourself to him
La, la
La, la, la, la, la, la, la
La, la, la, la, la, la, la
La, la, la, la
La, la, la, la, la, la
Fate
Up against your will
Through the thick and thin
He will wait until
You give yourself to him
Fate
Up against your will
Through the thick and thin
He will wait until
You give yourself to him
