Tequila
& Salt

Author Unknown
There are at least two people in
this world that you would die for.
At least 15 people in this
world love you in some way.
The only reason anyone would
ever hate you is because they want to be just
like you.
A smile from you can bring
happiness to anyone, even if they don't like
you.
Every night, someone thinks
about you before they go to sleep.
You mean the world to
someone.
You are special and unique.
Someone that you don't even
know exists loves you.
When you make the biggest
mistake ever, something good comes from it.
When you think the world has
turned its back on you take another look.
Always remember the
compliments you received. Forget about the rude
remarks.
And
always remember....when life hands you lemons, ask
for tequila and
salt...

How
To Stay Young.

Author Unknown
Try
everything twice. On Madams tombstone (of Whelan's
and Madam) she said she wanted this
epitaph: "Tried everything
twice...loved it both times!"
Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull
you down. (Keep this in mind if you are one
of those grouches.)
Keep learning: Learn more about the computer,
crafts, gardening, whatever. Never let the
brain get idle. "An idle mind is the
devil's workshop," and the devil's name
is Alzheimer's!
Enjoy the simple things.
Laugh
often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for
breath. And if you have a friend who makes
you laugh, spend lots and lots of time
with him/her.
The
tears happen: endure, grieve, and move on. The
only person who is with us our entire life,
is ourselves. Live while you are alive.
Surround yourself with what you love: Whether it's
family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants,
hobbies, whatever. Your home is your refuge.
Cherish
your health: If it is good, preserve it. If it
is unstable, improve it. If it is beyond
what you can improve, get help.
Don't take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall,
even to the next county, to a foreign
country, but not to where the guilt is.
Tell the people you love that you love them, at
every opportunity.
Forgive
now those who made you cry. You might not get a
second time.

Butterfly
-- Author Unknown
A man found a
cocoon of a butterfly. One day a small opening
appeared. He sat and watched the butterfly for
several hours as it struggled to force its body
through that little hole.
Then
it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared
as if it had gotten as far as it could, and it
could go no further.
So
the man decided to help the butterfly. He took a
pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit
of the cocoon.
The
butterfly then emerged easily. But it had a
swollen body and small, shriveled wings.
The
man continued to watch the butterfly because he
expected that, at any moment, the wings would
enlarge and expand to be able to support the body,
which would contract in time.
Neither
happened! In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of
its life crawling around with a swollen body and
shriveled wings.
It
never was able to fly.
What
the man, in his kindness and haste, did not
understand was that the restricting cocoon and the
struggle required for the butterfly to get through
the tiny opening were God's way of forcing fluid
from the body of the butterfly into its wings so
that it would be ready for flight once it achieved
its freedom from the cocoon.
Sometimes
struggles are exactly what we need in our lives. If
God allowed us to go through our lives without any
obstacles, it would cripple us.
